The Shack-in-a-Box Solaris 720Wh Solar Generator v2.5 is primarily designed for off-grid amateur radio and emergency communications, but it is also perfect for charging your devices and running small appliances (using an optional 300W Samlex Pure Sine Wave Inverter which is available from Amazon). It's a great source of backup power for your RV, camping, boating, or off-grid excursions due to its mobility. Moreover, it's clean and doesn't require you to keep any fuel on hand.
The new Solaris 720Wh Solar Generator v2.5 provides power during a blackout and keeps your 12V lights, fans, and communications going strong. Additionally, you can use the Solaris 720Wh Solar Generator V2.0 to charge your laptop, tablet with an Anderson Powerpole to cigarette lighter socket adapter, and cell phone through the 2 amp USB port that is located on the Buddipole POWERmini Solar Charge Controller.
There is also a handy built-in LED light to help light up those dark nights!
The Solaris 720Wh Solar Generator v2.5 is powered by a robust Bioenno Power 60Ah LiFePO4 battery, which can be recharged at least 2000 times (and as many as up to 5000 times). Solar charging and power management is handled by the Buddipole POWERmini, which is RFI-free, and provides a plethora of information that you can use to make crucial power management decisions.
LiFePO4 batteries are the safest type of Lithium batteries currently made, as they will not overheat, and even if punctured they will not catch on fire nor explode, like Lithium-ion batteries are prone to do. The cathode material in LiFePO4 batteries poses no negative health hazards or environmental hazards.
